Hi All,
I am coming out to Australia in January 2016 (next year) and I intend to stay about 5 months and my intention is to get around WA as much as possible.
To do this I need a vehicle and it would be too damn expensive to hire for that length of time so I want to buy. What I was hoping is that someone could enlighten me on what has to be done,what's a rego and should I buy a Patrol with a road worthy certificate. If I buy a stock std Patrol where could I go to make it bush prepared.
If the opportunity arises and there is one of you lot venturing out beyond the tarmac and would like the company of a very nice Welshman (you never know we could be long lost relatives) the I may just be interested.
I used to live in Perth, Inglewood and Bayswater to be precise and loved it but my parents said we were going home and that's what I had to do, but since then I have been singing the praises of Australia and one of our daughters now lives in Sydney.
Anyway, enough jabber for nowso looking forward to all the replies with lots of info.
