How they hanging?

Have settled on my first 4wd after much research. Previous tow / tug 2002 Ford Au 3 wagon.

Bought a 1997 GQ Y60 TD4.2 Non Turboed original Blue Silver model, with 222,000 genuine klms on it.

Love a vehicle you can work on.
Have replaced Clutch master and slave.
Needs Clutch booster, but runs ok without, Big Lt leg muscles, hahah
Replaced Temp sender for gauge. Gauge tests ok.
Engine running cold. Ordered new Thermostat, stuck open.

Parcel arrived today 2 days after ordering on ebay from 4wd products store.

Thermostat (made in USA) and Gasket $27.00

Removed old thermostat, permanently jammed open, replaced with new gasket and Thermostat.
I always coat gaskets and bolt threads with non hardening aviation gasket goo.

Temp gauge now sits just under 1/2 , outside temp is 18c.
