To my surprise my set of Challenger wheels fitted the GU
I didn't think that they would even be the same stud pattern.
The centres and all fit and clear the break calipers.
Did 400km on them yesterday with no problems.

The only thing I think I should watch for is they don't crack as they are only the cheap ones.

Challenger has an IFS front end I think the off set will be all wrong,
and may not be rated to carry a Patrol.
IMO the front rims would look all wrong

10mm off set but can't remember which direction in or out.
The rims are sold for Heavy rigis, but will check it out.

Won't be doing anything hard core with them as I don't think they will hold up.

What's a good set of steel rims for a heavy Patrol?

I have Dynamic 1400kg steel rims on my patrol. So far so good. Can get in black, white or galvanised look.

Interesting development today on the way to work
I developed a fair steering wheel shake and pulled over to check the wheel nuts
All good there, called the tyre place where I got them 3 years ago and was told the following.
Due to them being rated to 1200kg and cheap rims they can flex and twist and do this and also when you remove and refit them that can also go out of shape.
Will be taking them off now and purchasing a new rated set.
The rims are still fine for lighter rigs.
