The only rebuilds of TB45s I've heard of are those who wanted to strengthen their engine for forced induction.
It must be way cheaper to buy a secondhand TB45 than to rebuild one especially, with all due respect, as you don't seem to know your engine very well.
Btw, I'll have a complete TB45E engine for sale near the end of next month.. It's only done 136,000 kms.

May I ask how the project you're onto which makes a TB45E available? I'm guessing it's your current engine and you're about pull it out? I'm guessing some kinda upgrade project?!

I suspect you pulled the rocker cover out with the hope of finding the cam shaft on top of the head, right?! :D

Ok, cool! Then let me take another guess. :D
You're getting rid of the TB45 'cos it's a fuel guzzler that doesn't provide enough of power for your fuel money, right?! ;)
I know very little about TB45s.
Obviously they use the same gearbox as TD42s and TB42s?

I'll have several bits for sale soon for a TB45 turbo install including a GT35/40 turbo.
Have a look at my TB45E turbo install thread in the DIY section..
