Switches...what are they for

I'm trying to find out what some of the switches do in my Patrol. Firstly on the console is a A/T switch and it has a Power and Hold position what is this switch used for. Secondly I have a Heater switch mounted just below the air vents on the right hand side of the dash, what is this used for, I know when I switch it on the revs rise.

The Patrol didn't come with the Owners Manual and I can't seem to locate one, so any help would appreciated

a/t switch is for auto trans and is for towing and will hold in a lower gear when under load going up hill
other switch is for warming up motor when cold
