Not sure if this is the best place or safety.

The story speaks for itself.

Some nut case on the loose again..

I doesnt make sense to me, Its not like there is new mining etc going on.
Seems like a tree hugging dreadlocked smelly ferral trying to make
a statement.
They will be able to sniff him out easy enough, lol
heres the spikes
they have put a bit of thought into making these imo

if someone dies its man slaughter isnt it what cock heads

I heard about this the other day, bloody really pisses me off.
Hope they catch the a$$holes responsible, or maybe we can catch them and show them how much it hurts to tread on a spike.

If you can get to the Advertiser web site on this it says that an "unnamed tourist was spiked through the sole of his foot when he trod on another trap while changing the wheel".

Trouble its a pay article, though there are ways around it.

Hey, hey settle down. Hugging trees, having dreadlocks & being a feral doesn’t make people knobheads with a wish to hurt innocent folk. I have friends who spend their lives trying to protect our forests, folk with integrity, passion & dreads. Despite being called ferals by some they would be horrified at the thought of this sort of criminality.

Ahhhh yes, but there are also those that have a habit of taking things to the extreme...... all in the name of conservation

There are good guys and wankers in any group of people be it conservationists, red necks or nissan patrol owners. Fact of life.

Wise words, what annoys me is that I love the bush and 4WDing but there are the certain few that give our hobby such a bad stigma / reputation by being complete idiots. There are always that certain few that take it too far or have no consideration or brains.

Anyways don't want to get away from the topic, agreed it is studid and dangerous what has been done just wanted to throw it out there.

With the risk
of sounding like a
keyboard warrior I
reckon whoever put
the spikes out are
bloody cowards. If you
look at it in another
sense, it is a form of
terrorism.
