Hey Gurus,
Just wondering if anybody has heard of the above and know what it may be? When putting the boot into it will hesitate at around 3k and struggle until about 3.5k. I've tried switching the auto to change the gears myself but it still happens.
I have a scan tool and there no codes or engine light so I'm not sure.
Any ideas?
Thanks Mick.

I experienced this with a diesel VW a few years back.
After much expense it turned out to be a blocked fuel filter.
Might be worth trying the cheaper things like this first.

Cheers mate, I was saying this earlier to my wife as I have a spare in the shed. I'll do it on Friday and see how I go. [emoji106]

It's an inline, but ally by the looks of it, and not too small.

I can confirm its not the filter. That's the problem with owning the petrol. Nobody knows anything about them.

Ok back to square one, could it be sucking air in the higher revs
maybe some vacuum lines have perished. Cheap enough to replace the lo
What about the seal on the air filter lid?

Well 3Dogs, I'm happily to admit, that at some point I've stuffed up. I firstly checked the air filter and I found this little baby in there. http://www.nissanpatrol.com.au/forums/images/imported/2015/07/105.jpg
I have absolute no explanation how a polishing sponge got into the filter box, but I'm extremely happy I found the problem.
