So I need to get these two.
I have found this alternator...
http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/191603715530?_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT
At 110A, seems to be a bit bigger than the others sold, but a bit dear too. Plus the vacuum pump seems a higher volume too...

and this starter....

Just would like some thoughts/ advice on these items...

Cheers.

I bought the same from Auto8 on Ebay for the same price. The one I bought was rated at 100 amp. It should arrive tomorrow.

Haven't decided on starter yet but will probably be Ebay also, somewhere around the $200 odd mark..

Nothing wrong with the price of that Alternator,
a few years ago you would pay $1000 for that

I agree! Patrolapart had the 120amps but they ran out and no more stock was manufactured. They sold theirs for Aron's $600 I think???? Can't remember but that's a bargain.

Thanks guys. That starter i can actually get it cheaper from the same guy as he is not far from me and paying cash makes it cheaper. I bought stuff from him before... The alternator looks the goods. I will place the order with them. ...

Its a factory Turbo black top motor.... I don't remember seeing the vacuum pump with the motor and bits before I sent it off to JPC's... I'll have to ring them tomorrow now and see if it in with the other parts.

It should be under the injector pump.

Yeah I soon realised this... :icon_bonk: Anyhow, I don't remember seeing it, I will make sure, though as I will need to find one if I don't have it.

Mine's the T block and it doesn't have the vacuum pump under the IP.

This is true lol. Yours is special though.

Mudski if you dont have the front plate or timing cover than you can use whichever you like. The hardest bit will be finding the steel plate which bolts to the front of the block if you dont already have one.

Yeah I've got those two parts. I remember seeing those...Can't I just make a plate to cover where the vacuum pump would go? Sorry I haven't seen how they mount up. If I didn't have the pump, and couldn't find one that is....

Your plate and timing cover will look like this if the vacuum pump is under the IP
