G'day guys my name is Rowan, i live in the northern parts of western Australia, originally from newcastle n.s.w (go the blues.) I have had my 2001 GU patrol going on about 5 years now, been a great rig, but on the weekend found my self doing a silly mistake with a drive belt change out.
I never disconnected my battery and end up zapping the Geeeezzus out of my self on the alternator some how. Any way after putting her back together reached in through the window and started her was running awesome then jumped in to realise that no dash lights, hazards didnt work, gauges didnt work and i turn the aircon on to have the compressor kick in but the in cab fans dont work. Lights work just nothing on the dash!
Checked fuses all good! Then checked the fuse boxes under bonnet to find a blown 100 amp slow blow fuse. Just wondering if anyone may have encountered something like this before?

Hi Rowan and welcome to the forum, sounds like you have fried the ECU.
but post up your question in the auto electrical section, you get heaps of response.
Also try to disconnect the battery for an hour too.
