the dreaded heater core leakage looks ugly to remove

comn home from work an i could smell coolant in the 4by once i turned on the fan. after getting home i checked under dash to find dripping coolant - yep heater core is leaking doh!.
looking on the patrol site at how to remove it thats just plain ugly but great pics and info to tackle the job just dreading it

If you get your core fixed
don't let them paint it
because it stinks of
paint fumes for ages.

Didn't think it would be hard. Just time consuming. I assume the entire fan box need to come out first. I removed the a/c evap cooler in mine, wasn't too difficult. Never really looked TBH. Good luck mate.
