Ok. Peoples. I'm about to embark on a ZD to TD GU conversion and I need a few bits. I'm not really sure on what I'm missing at the moment but heres a list of what I know I need....
Power steering pump and brackets I have...
Power steering piping I have...
A/c Pump and brackets ( I think) I have...
A/C piping Maybe be able to use my hoses???????
Fuel filter head I have...
Bellhousing to suit.....
Engine mount brackets, from motor too engine mount.
Chassis to engine mount brackets I have...
RHS rear engine to trans bracket
Thats all I can think of right now. Its a bit overwhelming on what parts I will need that I don't even know of yet.
Alternator, starter, radiator, shroud, clutch fan and engine fan, turbo and maybe intercooler (depending on whats for sale second hand) I will get new.
Thanks.

I have a power steering pump off the TD42T motor I just bought.
I also have a new high pressure hose I just ordered from Patrolapart before I decided to use the TB45 pump.
I also have a TB45 A/C compressor - it bolts to the bracket on my TD42T so I assume it's the same. It has the O'ring type connections for the hoses.
I'll try to take some pics this weekend.

Thanks. Can anyone confirm the a/c TB45 a/c pump will be the same? Assuming if it bolts up and the wiring plugs are the same, it will be yes...
While your taking pics. Can you take some pics of all the "bolt on" brackets? Please. Just so I get some reference of what I have and dont have. Thanks.

Do you mean all the cast brackets?
I will probably have the cast bracket for the alternator and also the cast bracket for the power steering pump.
If it is a TD42T factory turbo block, I also have the original oil feed & oil return hoses for the vacuum pump on the alternator.
Do you have a pic of the LH side of your block?

Hmm. I took a shite load of pics when the block was here. Over the weekend I will look at the brackets I have and try to work out what they are. The motor is already at the work shop.....
Its a factory TD42T block btw.

What turbo manifold are you planning to use?
I have the original 2 piece cast factory manifold that could be for sale.

I have the crossover piping but that won't interest you with what you're planning..
As you mentioned, have a good look at what you need so we get a clearer idea of where we're going with all this.

Ok the bracket on the left I have. I don't have the upper adjusting bracket.... The one on the right, it looks familiar, I dont have it in my bunch of photo's. So I will assume no, also the adjusting bracket for the pwr strg pump too... Everything is at the workshop now so I can't check.
Do you know what the part circled is?

And is this bracket circle below the A/c pump bracket? Assuming it is....

Not 100% on the a/c pump pipe fitment though. yet

Just add another on the list. Brackets from motor too engine mounts.

The first one circled looks like the part that bolts to the bottom rear of the engine, not sure which side, and supports the lower half of the trans. There's one on each side but they're not similar.
Could take pics tomorrow of them both.
The second circle could be for A/C but it's not the same as mine. If it is for A/C, the TB compressor won't fit to it.

Yeah I reckon your right about the first one. Just going through the Nissanfast catalog and found them. I suppose mate, make up a list of what you have and what $$$ your after and then, pm it to me. I'll see the mechanic next week. This week I have too much on.

You're clearly in no hurry so let's see what you really need down the track.
I'm in 2 minds about the manifold, I'm thinking it might be better to keep it and bundle it with turbo, crossover stuff, dump. etc if I change the turbo. That makes an almost complete bolt-on turbo kit for someone. With no manifold, nobody would want the other stuff..

I would take the a/c pump bracket to suit mate. Just did a quick look around and the pump is the same, for TB/TD and RD28...
Get some prices together mate and send me a pm if you like.

Just an FYI, these are the same as TB45 so shouldn't be too hard to find. I don't have any spare, I'm using the brackets from my TB when I pull it.

I've just taken a closer look at your A/C bracket (the one you had circled in an earlier pic) and it is the same as the bracket on my TD42T so the TB45E A/C compressor will fit on it.

Another FYI, here's a pic of the 2 cast brackets you need that bolt to the rear of the engine and to the trans.
The one on the right is for the RH side.

You wouldn't have a glow plug timer too for GU? The glow relay is the same as the ZD one so thats sorted...

I bought an OEX timer off Ebay and a 100 amp relay from Jaycar.

Yeah I was thinking of that, but though if I can get the right one cheap enough, less hassle as it will just plug in. I'm trying to streamline this build as much as I can....
