Hi,

Just thought I'd sign up and introduce myself. I've been looking around for a little while now trying to research as much as I can. We have two children two years and two weeks. I am planning to buy and start setting up a 2015 ST Patrol at the end of the year so I can take the family out and see this awesome country.

There seems to be an awesome amount of knowledge and expire nice here which I'm sure will be invaluable. Can't wait to get out there! :icon_driving:

Thanks, Bradie.

Thanks guys. There are some cool setups on here. I'm wanting to build a reliable and capable family tourer.

I'm only an hour and a half from the Victorian high country so plenty of fun and learning to be had.

I'm trying to work out what a really need. I plan on getting front bar, side rails and steps and a snorkel from from ARB as a dealer option.

The other things I think I will need are a cargo barrier, rated recovery points, air compressor, tire pressure gauge, snatch strap, rated D shackles and diff breather extension.

I'm thinking that will get us out there with the obvious camping equipment.

Be great to hear what you all think about my initial ideas and any essential I might be missing from my ever growing wish list. :D

Cheers.

Welcome mate, 1st thing I would suggest is a cargo barrier if you are going to put stuff in the back, got to look after the little ones 1st of all.

That is very important, some would say they are the most important cargo.

I hope the purchase goes well too. It'd be good if I can get the price down enough to throw a few things on.

What would be more useful to begin with, 2" suspension lift or a winch?

Thanks.
