G'day all,

After advice from anyone who has a Eonon head unit in an older gu 98 etc, I have installed mine and although everything works correctly, there is no sound output from any of the speakers no matter the source, radio/dvd. is there some other wire I need to connect that I am not aware of. Yes all speakers are connected.

any help appreciated. NoI don't want a lecture about how I should have paid more for a pioneer unit.

I have the chinese copy , do you have any wires left not connected.
Not being smart just asking.

only ones that say 'key 5v' I have connected a blue amp wire to power based on info from eonon forum but it didn't achieve anything. Also has a reverse wire which I guess is to do with revers camera but mine receives power elsewhere. Then just a bunch of rca leads for sub etc

I found out they are for the steering wheel control
Are you running an amp?
That purple reverse wire is to trigger the screen

no amp, I was just going to move my video from reverse camera to the reverse vid input as it already gets its signal from the reverse light. used to be plugged into VMS but it was a pain in the ass.
