Ok my GQ had a 5" lift when i got it then I had it lowered to 2" I thought the company fitting the new lift would have adjusted the panhards so the wheels sit central under the chassis but they didn't and claim its not their problem since they didn't do a wheel alignment.

My question here is can anyone tell me the lengths center to center for both front and rear panhards and I guess I'll have a go at it myself.

Thanks.

Not sure on lengths, but not too hard if a job to do.

Pretty poor not to adjust them from said compny though.

Good luck with ir

I'm going to contact (yet to be named company's) head office tomorrow and see what their stand is on franchisers not doing something that myself and others believe should have been done as part of changing the suspension.

Very bad service IMO. It wouldn't cost them an arm and a leg to adjust the panhard length. Fairly easy job when the vehicle is on the hoist.

Easy job with rear only taking ten minutes and the front about half an hour.

As for a company not even making mention about adjusting them is poor form.

Your car must look like a dogs breakfast!!! Very average service! No Brainer as far as I'm concerned! It should have been done by them.

How can they argue they did not do a wheel alignment? They knew they were taking a 5 inch lift out to install a 2 inch lift and the vehicle would require a wheel alignment for it to drive straight given the massive geometry change. They should have quoted in an alignment and should have done "the job"

The job was to remove old lift and install a 2 inch lift.

Well after much discussion this morning with head office then a trip down to the store and explained the only reason I got them to do it was because of this they have agreed to remedy the situation next Monday morning.

So a decent result. Just a shame it wasn't done right the first time.
