Hi just wondering if anyone might have had my problem? Just went to change oil in my GU and it appears that someone has locktighted the filler and drain plugs. Got filler out with great effort and force but drain plug wont budge. Tried several breaker bars with 4ft pipe to rattle gun etc, but wont budge. Don't wont break the housing as I have seen this happen. Any ideas?

Did you try tapping it with a hammer to "crack" the seal,
other than that maybe apply some heat.
Previous owner may have even cross threaded it ggrrr

I took my Patrol to a fleet maintenance
place and got them to mig weld an old
impact socket to the plug. Then they
were able to apply enough force to crack
the plug loose, after the heat had done
its job.

Make sure you can get the filler plug undone first before draining....

If tapping it hasn't loosened the seal, heat would be my next move, you're changing oil anyway.
OOI is the plug looking square or do you think it may be cross threaded,

I'll be watching this one as I have the same drama. I don't think mine were loctited in, I got everything open except the gearbox drain. Tried hitting it, heat, big cheater bar, no luck.

Metrinch and heat. You don't have to use a gas axe, just an electric heat gun should release loktite. Use a metrinch socket idf the plug is damaged or rounded.
