Sorry Todd, you have bigger and better things to worry about. BUY that house you've been after then worry about a new Patrol....I just thought I would put this out there

Remember: Nothing's a bargain from a dealer.
I'm not really up on prices these days but seems OK on the surface. You interested are you?
I'm not interested personaly but thought it was a good price on the surface...

That's a good deal, though it is a DX, but it is 17k cheaper than mine that I bought last year.

Then there has to be a catch here. Might be a 2010 model?
Certainly nothing wrong with that. Don;t think there's any significant difference to 2011...could be wrong and hope someone can correct me
The running gear is the best around till the new model comes out..whenever it does

The 3l was the only motor available since 2006 so I think there might be something new in the line up very soon....maybe

Yeah, but they need something like a small V6 diesel for Australia as well if they want to stay in the market

I heard that the new model will be here this year, but they will still make the current GU for several more years, so I'm not sure why it is such a good discount, even if it is a 2010 make, maybe its might an 09 or 08 that was in storage, a bulk order or something like that.
But as far as I know there is no real need for a run out as the current model will be in production for many more years.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

i like your way of thinking, new patrol, a new 30 footer, might even get a boat and a new dirt bike..... It would still work out cheaper than a house :)

after meeting some blokes who had a sideline in buying ex mining vehicles, having the dings removed, a squirt of paint, and swapping the 750 R16s for something else, I've always wondered about buying white fourbys of any brand. Apparently underground coal mines are not a healthy place in the corrosion department.
the one in question was a Patrol from memory at a tyre place where they and I were buying tyres and rims, so they don't all run Tojo's or didn't back in the mid 90s.
I guess this is a new one.
