Yeah, Have larger tyres fitted remove all bars Smoothed off the diffs.
Fitted led head lights and tail lights. Tyres are Pit Bulls. cut the body to suit tyres
Simon from 4WD tv has a track in his backyard and most Thursday nights is Track night.
There are some very highly modded 1/10th rc at any meeting. I'd like some weighted rims next

Not many mods on mine yet just put in a 50 turn motor slowed it down heaps a lot better for crawling

Kallen is the RC guy , My tyres are 5" I think. shocks are 100mm,, I think Simon recommends using a Goat motor
There is a guy that does awesome patrol crawlers with scaled bodies,
Should be a thread here some where on it.
Email Simon I think he sells some gear

I've got a cheap eBay one... was good to take camping until I decided to see how water proof it was. It was great fun driving through the river for 5 mins until it fried... hahaha
Only a cheap part to replace but have not got around to it yet.

You can spend $$$ getting them up to comp spec,
Best thing I did was buy another battery with more AH.
But they pretty much go anywhere, I brought mine from Simon for about $200
Spent that again on bits and pieces lol Might have to start playing again ha ha
What scale is your's??

Mine is 1/8, it's huge! Looks similar to yours, just a different body, just a cheapie to start with.

so what does yours have 150mm tyres on it or are they bigger again,
Ive never seen a 1/8th up close, always wanted to make a trailer to carry 4 cans
when up the Murray, crawl up the bank to camp where someone can change the cans for some coldies
It was either that or make a set of saddlebags for my Doberman at the time.
Maybe the next dog sigh

I have a couple of 1/10 scale Crawlers and have done a bit of crawling with Simon. First time i did it was with him and Danny and bought both my crawlers from him. Done some recommended mods from Simon and Danny and weighted the wheel and run PitBull tyres for the win.

bent up all the trailing arms for better clearance and cut all the bodies up and it flexes well. all these mod i did before i even turned a wheel, Out of the box and pulled them apart to start :p

We got into 1/5th scale RC a while ago, more for off road "racing" and not much good for slow crawling, ours is a 4x4 Losi 5T, 1/5th scale really makes a 1/8th look tiny.....

The first 2 cars in this vid belong to my son....
