That "follow" feature is so cool. Set it above the fourbie and let it follow/record as you do a track - providing there is no trees above. lol

Now that I've got permission to buy one for our Christmas presents do I or don't I? The one thing that puts me off is no obstacle collision detection

Got to remember boys and girls. Lily is blind and doesn't see trees , buildings , powerlines or any other obsticles...LOL I still want one:)

I reckon by the time its released there would be 100's of others following suit..kind of like go pro...which is good of course:)

Other than very strict laws on where you can use them, Kallen would know more imo
But an invaluable tool in a few fields like search and rescue.
Id love one but not sure if legal in Aus ,Kallen???

Hahaha, did you actually watch the video? These are not your typical drone , they follow the sensor which you wear on your wrist and record you while you do whatever.

Very legal in Australia.

You know you need one TD :)

are you sure about that? so it i know some of those quad copters have inbuild sensors that wont let them get too close to anything??? it would be pretty useless unless you were in an open field etc otherwise???

Awesome but just more dollars. Will wait and see what happens price wise.... Very cool though!

Just had a thought - imagine going camping with a group and they all had one... Crashing Lily's..

Not a lot of tracks around that you could feel comfortable using it, knowing that it won't crash into tree limbs or anything else.

lucus30
24th May 2015, 09:27 PM
hmm but for wakeboarding it would be cool, getting it for the 4wd was only a small part of it

Clunk

well that sucks whats the point!

they say that they feel it's not necessary due to the fact that it tracts behind you............. you basically controls where it tracks from

It's a cool design but I'd holding off for a while until the tweak a few things.
20 mins flight time and 2 hours charge.
That's old school charge rates and I guess there taking it easy but a LI-FE battery would be 1/4 that charge time with a good charger.

The platform and idea is great though. And they kept it simple.
