Opinions on best auto

want to go auto on my swb GQ, I am running an ls3 which dynos at 560 rwhp,many articles of people wanting to go auto but not seen any articles where the project has been done and completed, I may have not searched thoroughly enough or missed it, I want the best setup available,opinions greatly appreciated,if you have done it successfully let me know please,thanks fellas

put a 6l80 (6 speed) on the LS. thats what they come with from factory. As far as i know they can take a bit of power too.

Few people have also used factory patrol autos (4 speed) with upgraded valve bodies.

that's what I want but what is involved in hooking up the transfer to this box?

Marks adaptors will have most of the answers to many of your questions.
Someone else (can't remember name) has LS but I think still manual. Sorry.
