Hi everyone i have a question is it hard to to the front wheel bearings on a gu patrol?

As per 3D's post check out mudrunners thread its very comprehensive. GQ patrol is exactly the same except for the locking ring setup but you will get the idea

Check out that thread mate, easy enough. The race can be a bigger to get out of the hub but you should be able to get it done.

looks like I will have to tackle this job very shortly, will ha ve to get all the bits n pieces first. Tis a great write up MR but at the moment, I'm not confident lol

Just wheel bearings or a swivel hub rebuild? A full rebuild will take you the better part of a weekend mate.

I had no idea what I was doing and knocked one side off in roughly an hour. This was just replacing the wheel bearings with new ones.

Just wheel bearings or a swivel hub rebuild? A full rebuild will take you the better part of a weekend mate.
Well you see, I thought that if you changed all the bearings, then it would a be a full rebuild, or can you just change those bearings that sit on top and bottom of the hub (whatever theyre called) without having to remove other bits n pieces.
In my case, the drivers side has a vusuble leak, the passenger side does not leak but have noticed one of the rubber seals is no longer sitting correctly and the wheel wobbles. So I was thinking I'd be up for a full rebuild as you showed in your thread

Yup rebuild. Do it once do it right or the wheels will drop off and you'll be fubar hahahahaa
