Was the TD42 out of a GU? Do you have the engine and gearbox harness?

No mate motor came out of a 94 gq has a black top on it and the gear box was a zd30. I was planning to use my tb45 auto harness its just the reverse back up light im having trouble finding. I do have a full zd30 harness though.

I'm not sure if the reverse light wiring will be in the engine bay for the manuals ,if the vehicle was an auto.

You will have to look and see if you can find the connector and if it has the correct wires in it.

The connector should be near the fuse box under the bonnet. When you are standing near the drivers side guard looking towards the engine it will be on the LHS of the fuse box and should be the one closest to you. Connector E69 in the picture.

Connector E69 plugs into E202. The connector should be black in colour.

As per the picture of connector E202 (I couldn't find a picture of connector E69 showing the pin configuration so I posted E202 so you would know what to look for).

There should be Yellow wire in pin 7 and

A White wire with a Black trace in pin 6.

If there is, your manual reverse light switch will connect to these two. If not then you will need to run the wires inside the cab and connect to the old inhibitor switch connector.

You will also need to connect the speedo and 4WD light sensors in the gearbox.

You will also need to bypass the inhibitor relay so the starter motor will work.
