Hi all I've just helped my dad put a rd28t out of a gu into his gq and my main problem is he pulled the engine out 2 years and has forgotten how a few of lines run off the engine. I'm doing my best to help him out but I'm no diesel mechanic. There's a hose that runs off the vacuum unit on top of the valve cover I'm unsure whether it runs straight to the sump also there's the ones that runs off the back of the alternator. We had to use the alternator and sump off the earlier engine and now are unsure how to plumb the lines up. If anyone in the brassy area can help me out or even send me some pics of how they're meant to run would be greatly appreciated just wanna get the old mans fourby back on the road. Cheers mark

Is it the hose the one that is on top of the manifold next to the intercooler. If so it goes into the back of the intercooler. I will try and take a pick of mine tom morning for ya. Regarding the alternator I will have a look tom as well and see what I can figure out.

They usually run into the intake, my na td42 dumps back into the intake manifold.
Most the blokes who aftermarket turbo engines simply run threw a catch can and vent to atmosphere.
