Hi folks new here, as wife wrote off 100 series landcruiser last week I'm looking at buying a gu111 patrol as a replacement but am having trouble with all the talk about the 3.oltr turbo diesel any thoughts? Darren

Hi Darren and welcome to the forum all the problems were with the early Di motors up to 2003
You will be fine with your 2011 model dont stress over it, so jump in anytime ask anything you
like and enjoy

Hi and welcome to the forum. As TD said 2011 should be OK. Seems the major problem was overcome about 2004/5 GU3+. Anyway the 2011 has a CRD motor and is different to the earlier Di modles with the problems.

yep common rail 3 ltr is fine although i would still do the egr block, dawes valve and egt and boost gauges to keep an eye on things.
