Thought I'd better throw up an introduction message as I've just spent half my work day browsing the forum, and I now see myself doing this a lot more often than I probably should be!

I've had the old 2000 GUII Ti 4.5l Petrol/Gas for a fair few years now and just never got around to throwing any extra money into it. Recently been looking at selling to upgrade but have reconsidered and now looking into doing a conversion to a TD4.2t. I found Mytqiks thread inspiring but his tread has left me hanging so I'm looking forward to see how he goes finishing his conversion off and looking to see if anyone else has done their own.

As I'm sure a lot of us on here do the same, I am dreaming big so I'm also looking into converting my wagon into the dual cab during the engine swap and get a respray.

I'm sure when I look further into all the costs and time involved some of my dreams will be crushed... but for now I'll be a glass half full kinda guy.

Look forward to getting you know all and reading everyone's stories.

Cheers Jahny
