ok it will be hard to work out then but i would say off the top of my head 4.1 or 4.3, i have 315 tyres on my td42 and have 4.3 diff gears

Those tyres are only a tiny bit bigger than what comes factory, so I would not worry about changing ratios.

That's normal for a TB42, I'm guessing yours is a manual, which I believe the diff ratios are 4.1........ the TD42 manuals are also 4.1

If yours is an auto, then the diff ratios should be 3.9 and turn the overdrive off if towing, it'll be a bit more spritely

Really. That's a huge difference as mine is close to 2800 at 100km/h

Mine revved more than that Clunk, do you think that would be the difference between the auto and manual?

Clunk

Mines an auto too and just checked, its actually got 4.1 diffs. I haven't driven it for a while but i remember it used to rev at about 1800rpm at 110kph with the overdrive on and about 2200 with it off. Thats running on 33s.
So whether they ran different ratios in the Mavs, i really dont know.

Oh and Kallen, my TD42 runs at 2400rpm at 110kph in 5th gear.

Is the auto overdrive equivalent to the 5th gear in the manual? Mine revved at about 2400 the same as my TD42

With the 3.9 mine was 2100 at 100 kph now with the 4.3 it's about 2600 on 35's

The auto will be lower in engine rpm due to its nature. The td42 auto we have sits on less than 2000rpm with 31's unsure on thw ratio would have to look but would lnly be 3.9 or 4.1
