Hi all names Troy just after a solution to problem with engie getting hotter that i like have a gq patrol 4,2 diesel denko turbe 14psi 600m front mount intercooler standard radiator only gets hot towing boat would like to be under the halfway mark on gauge any help muck appreciated

Gday Troy, You can try burping the car by taping a coke bottle to the radiator, half filling it with coolant then park the car on a slight uphill with engine running and the heater on, this expels any trapped air. You can also get trouble using non genuine thermostats. Good luck.

does it heat up while your driving or when you stop slow down and have you topped up the coolant lately

welcome to the forum mate the radiator may need rodding the gallerys or the viscous hub may need servicing.
