TD42T missing on cold mornings

Hey again guys and gals, my gu Td42t is running like crap on start up on cold mornings it's only done 8000k's since engine rebuild. Glow plugs injectors and injector pump and filters were all done at the same time. It also done it last year before the motor was rebuilt. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I'd be checking the voltage at the glow plugs.
The plugs may be fine but the controller on its way out.
