Yes, and yes. The mud run each night is a spectacle your not likely to see any where else the atmosphere is funny as too.
Then to see where the trucks try to go is mind-blowing, some sad ass set out many of the courses. They look impossible then someone drives it!
There are $5000 to $100000 vehicles and all go hard.

Went in 2013 for the weekend and had a ball, except for the crappy line up 2 get in and the security checks for alcohol!

Missed 2014 and will more than likely miss this year, would love 2 go but money is going out quicker than its coming in :(

How thorough were they with the alcohol checks, and is there plenty of room to camp

Tonks the 2 times I have been they were looking for glass, no stubby bottles, spirit bottles, tomato sauce as well!
The terms say 30 cans or a litre of spirit. If you want more they can not thoroughly check all the cars!

13.1 Site Alcohol Limit
(a) he prescribed limit of alcohol that each patron
over 18 years old who is camping on Site is
permitted to bring onto the Site is either: i. a
maximum of 30 x 375 ml cans of beer or mixed
spirits; or ii. 1 litre of spirits;
