hey guys i have been doing my research and i can only find old posts however i just got out of a GQ TD42 and into a GU TD42T Ute however its non intercooled. i want to put a intercooler on it so i can wind the boost up slightly and get better AFRs etc. nothing major. i have been looking at different kits such as HPD etc and no way can i afford one of these kits. i also can't decide on front mount or top mount. front mount would be a easier DIY job however i have heard a lot of mixed stories with cooling issues etc. would i be better off going top mount and going a generic intercooler and making up my own bracket and piping or should i get a el cheap ebay kit (if its any good) or a front mount jobbo. even a factory intercooler jobbo if it will do what i want to do.
