Nissan Australia is set to introduce a “convertible” version of its Y62 Patrol sometime in the third quarter of 2016. If sales volumes meet expectations, the Australian contingent will also consider a similar program for the more commercial-orientated Y61 Patrol. The (Y61) would be based on the shorter two-door platform, taking aim at Chrysler Jeep’s JK Wrangler sales which have been doing well since the vehicle was first introduced in 2007……Thoughts?
