View Full Version : Bunny hopping in low range

Hi all, I've only had my GU7 Patrol for a few days and took it on some short tracks around a local quarry site near where I live. One thing I noticed was that some of the bouncing of the vehicle made it difficult to keep steady pressure on the accelerator which caused the car the start bunny hopping a little bit (low range 1st), difficult to stop without taking my foot off completely. I remember the JK Wrangler I had used an electronic throttle which dampened out inputs when in low range. I'm sure it's something I'll get used to and it only really did it in first low. Just wondered if anybody else experienced the same coming from another vehicle?

Cheers everyone
Dave

As per another thread place a sponge underneath the pedal,
or jam your foot into the kick panel and rock your foot sideways,
its a loy better than pointing your toe to controll revs.
with a bit of pratice you should be right

Thanks for the suggestions. Had a play around today and found rocking my foot sideways onto the pedal helped.
