Hi guys
I've got a 05 GU TD42ti I need to know a few things from some Nissan guru's im planning on doing a trip around Australia
#1 is valve clearances... what type (ie) are they shim or adjustable like a 1hd fte etc and also the clearances for my engine and if its done hot or cold.

#2 power upgrades that don't affect reliability or fuel economy too much? I was thinking better top mount intercooler to lower EGTs etc and a snorkel /less restrictive air box?? engine has factory turbo upgrade + 3" exhaust and tune already .

#3 radiator I took it to fraser island on my week off and it got a bit hot giving it stick in the soft sand , Ive heard the factory coolers are too small? am I best to upgrade to a better one? I will be towing a caravan .

#4 a bit off the mechanical topic but suspension I go off road a fair bit but will be towing so not to sure what would be the best set up, I was thinking 2 maybe 3 inch heavy duty coils with 4 inch shockies and a return to centre steering dampener maybe extended swaybar links??

that's about it guys anything else you can think of let me hear it ...thanks for your help I wont be able to reply right away as im working in the middle of nowhere as a underground fitter .
