Thought I would post up a thread about my new ute. It’s a 2004 DX with 265000 on it, factory TD42 with intercooler. It’s pretty much stock except for a 3" exhaust. I fitted a set of spotties and removed the rack, also installed a new head unit and my UHF. I got it for a pretty decent price as well.
It’s got a bit of surface rust on the chassis as the previous owner didn’t wash it properly after taking it up the beach. I have it booked in this week to get it sorted out. The cab also has some surface rust on the roof and needs a respray but all in due time.
Plans are for tyres, suspension, dual batteries, winch, bit of engine work, custom tray setup for camping.
