Hi guys,

Recently had NADS installed. Car ran beautifully prior to that. (Only had the car 2 months). I'm the second owner. Its done 104,000km now.. A week or so after NADS installation, I noticed coming up to lights to a stop the car felt like it missed and wanted to stall. After some diesel power from Chemtech, this has ceased.

Now it does after getting to running temperature develops a intermittent missing/rough idle. Which with a blip of the throttle comes good.. but then goes back into its rough idle.. sometimes it goes away on its own. The RPM does not drop. Putting the clutch in or out does not change it, having the aircon on does elimate it until the idle drops down, A/C cycle off.

I have cleaned my MAF yesterday (Was dirty). Which didn't appear to fix the problem.

Any other thoughts? I thought of increasing the idle, I have only just replaced my fuel filter.. but I have ran the tanks down fairly low recently.. Maybe it needs another change?

Was thinking to taking it into Alltrac 4x4. As my fitter/fabricator is a mechanic but, I feel that this should be left to someone who deals with nissans woes on a regular basis?

Well, It could be 15 years worth of crap from the bottom of my tanks that has gone through my new filter from running them low?

some new filters and fresh fuel might be in order.
I dont think there are small inline fuel filters.
others may know more,,
Cant see how it related to NADS
dis connect the battery to "reset" the ECU as well

As td has said. I would change the fuel filter for a start. Wouldn't hurt for it to be changed anyhow. Have you a mate or someone with the same motor? If so, use their maf and see if it changes. Also, get your best light and go over all the banjo fittings on the fuel lines from the filter thru to pump and to injectors to see if there are any leaks.

Have you had any luck chasing the problem down as mine is now doing the same thing.
