What up guys,
So just after christmas last year my 2.8 GU did the harmonic balancer, so ended up swapping a fella on New years day for a 96 GQ 2.8, on the 11th January it also decided that the balancer wasn't of importance and carked it too.... So as of a few weeks ago picked up this ex victorian police GU patrol.'
They removed most of the equipment but left the Nissan winchbar complete with 4 antenna mounts lol, Warn winch with dyneema rope, dual battery with redarc system.
Off the GQ and onto the new patrol was an aluminium roof bar, and an oricom uhf and mega aerial haha. Then grabbed a set of the 4wdsupastore titan drawers that were on sale and put them in.
Next up is window tint and to fit my old 33" light bar up onto the roof.
Then look at other goodies such as a water separator fuel filter, 3" exhaust and dp chip and then a lift kit.
Cheers for reading,
Eric.

Yeah, great score mate. I reckon the old cop wagons are generally pretty good buying.
Looks like a lowrider though. LOL, needs a bit of lift!

The amount of gear that was one the front bar is phenomenal, so many holes to clean up and repaint haha, they did a good job with the dash, all holes filled and smoothed, the only real signs are the pop rivets in the gutter mounts, the remaining fuse on the battery that says "siren" and the holes in the rear doors on the inside..
Cheers,
Eric.

Really good pick up mate should have asked them to leave the siren on, how funny would it be to wake the bush up before the sun comes up.(and everyone at camp).

How do you find the titan rear draws? Have you had them for long?

About 10 months, I need to trim the wings down slightly as they make it a bit tight, just been lazy. Other then that pretty good so far, no real gripes.
