Good day all,

Been lurking for awhile whilst deciding on what 4x4 to purchase! Landcruiser or patrol! I chose a 2006 Patrol ST hopefully pick it up on Thursday with photos to come! Totally standard & never even heard of sand or mud! Ridiculously clean!!
Need to take it out for a blast then decide on the necessary mods!!
So I hope some people want to go play soon near Perth??!!

Cheers guys for the welcome! & cheers Stropp & clunk!! I have been looking into the westernpatrol club too!! Was thinking of doing the Ultimate4wd 2 day course covering bush & sand driving! Not a complete muppet but def inexperienced!! Has anyone in Perth done this would they recommend it? & what should the first mods/ purchases be? Rated recovery points & recovery gear?
Cheers guys for your help!!

Mate of mine did the bush 4wd one dayer with Eureka. He ended up using mine as he didnt have a 4wd at the time. So i went with him as a passenger. Was actually very good, a great introduction to 4wding and very informative.

First thing you should get is a decent air compressor and tyre gauge. Decent recovery points front and rear, bow shackles amnd snatch strap. I would suggest getting out and about and get used to your car first and work out what sort of offroading youll be doing before getting a lift and tyres.

G'day Dman

Welcome to the forum and glad you could join us.

Great to see another 'ridiculously clean' vehicle out there. I've tried mud and sand a couple of times, but that's it... Life according to Clunk lol.

Take care out there.
