ill be adding photos to this thread. they probably wont be in order but you will get the idea.

Specs
2007 GU Patrol Series 4( was a ZD30 CRD) DX model. cant beat vinyl floors

I bought the patrol stock just over 2 years ago as a tow car. with in a few months the bug bit. I went through a few different suspension set ups and only recently I am happy. the conversion happened over 4 days, I didn't have any issues with the zd30 but it was never going to be a td, I bit the bullet bought a motor and haven't looked back since. I did everything at home. it started out with a cross county top mount and dts turbo. neither of them impressed me. so the garrett and front mount went on. I had a pump built last year and wasn't happy, the boys at P4x4 have set me up with a good pump. im yet to drive as the motor is out at the moment getting some love and im redoing the engine bay wiring. should be running wed night.

i have been given plenty of mixed info about. some say flat out NO. others say i can plate it with a few emission mods to bring it into compliance. in all honesty ill never sell it so im not to worried

i love Landcruiser park. Glasshouse is good . very keen to head south at some point and deffinatly do the cape. dont know if the patrol is capable enough tho ;) lol

The motor goes back in tomorrow. I wqs running 26 psi before it come out ill be running 35 at a minimum with the new pump :) :) BOOOOOSTT

Why so much? Will you still be running the standard intake manifold? What size piping and type of interlcooler? What are the specs on the turbo?

Also what specs has the pump been built to?

ok so its an running, no major issue but I have 2 to sort out.

I have issues with vaccum from the alternator. I have another pump to try first.
and second the intercooler piping isn't holding at over 35psi. (that's all the guage reads to )

the new pump is great. starts well. drives well. not sooty. and well it bloody moves. the clutch feels great too.

Standard intake manifold.
turbo is a GTX3067 with a T2 rear housing and 3.5 inch dump.
cooler piping is 2 inch hot side. and 2.5 cold intercooler is a 450 x 300. it will all get changed out at some point, but at present I don't see the need, its not showing any signs that the set up isn't working.

oh and it doses pretty hard at 35 psi, cooler pipe is blowing off at 30 now. going home to make a new pipe

You haven't actually given any specs mate. If you feel you can PM them.

Are you paying someone to do all the turbo and pump work?

What kind of boost control are you using?

"Doses" isn't always a good thing.

Im not 100% sure on the pump specs sorry mate .I know its good fot about 170cc of fuel.

I would be very carefull if your turbo "doses" , being a garret with a big front little rear it would likely be compressor surge. Keep doing it and you'll destroy that turbo pretty quickly.

Bit more info on it.

I had a leaking turbo drain after I put the motor back in. that's all fixed now. no more hose clamps.
the pump is great. next to no smoke. nice and clean power. EGTS are brillant. I can tow my 5m boat over the gateway bridge in 5th at 80klms and just hit 400 degrees .
