View Full Version : Car freighters gold coast to Melbourne
AB

Hi folks,
After a lot of crap with Leah's commo lemon we have purchased a Navara!
Long story short its just cheaper and easier to truck it down.
Does anyone know of any respectful car freighters or any assistant in who to use from their experience to get this to Yarra Glen vic?
I know there's a load of bidding sites for cheaper deals etc but I've heard some shocking stories over the years.
Any help appreciated :)

I don't know what else to say...
It's a 2011 nissan navara auto, stock.
It needs to go from paradise point to yarra glen.
I can get seller to drop off at depot on Gold Coast and if saving a fair bit of coin I can pick up in Melbourne suburbs?

Well well well.
I have now seen that I gave you the correct number, but dialling fingers pressed a different number.
My messaged numbers end in 2707, you rang 2704.
Apologies please.
Will take tyre bag as compensation.

Actually a lot of bigger companies have the same number with only the last few digits different for the different departments.

On advice from Rusty I posted an Add on Truckit.com.au and had a number of transport companies bidding for the backload. Prices started at $1000 and he ended up paying $350 door to door for the load, the transport companies bid against each other in a reverse auction. Worked great. Would do it again. The companies have feedback scores like ebay.

Yeah, I was actually joking. Being the busy man that you are, I kinda figured you wouldnt have 3 spare days, anyway.
But, I live in a household that it's not unusual to do a 4000km round trip in 3 days to pick up yet another rust bucket.

You could always syphon diesel from truckies while their sleeping, and there is also the option of crawling up in the landing gear of an aircraft. . . Just need to make sure it's going to the right destination first. . . Or you could just hitch hike. . . Easy!!
