I go out 4 wheeling with 3 wranglers, and apart from being noisy on the inside, having no room for gear, and being a jeep, they are unstoppable in the bush ......quite impressive as a bush machine, but I am not sure if I could live with one as a daily driver

I took a couple of jeep wranglers for a drive before I ended up in a paj. Extremely vague steering and I didn't like the brake pedal that was half way up your leg. Felt like I was driving a boat on the road.
Plus my wife said it was a teenage girls car and I looked like a sad middle aged guy that was trying too hard. ?

Apart from the JK ;)
I like the JK's, not to heavy, great weight distribution, great approach and departure angles.. petrols go like stink with a supercharger and so many bolt on upgrades..
If Jeep bring out their Maximum Performance JK (and last time i spoke with the guys in the U.S its looking more and more likely), Ill buy one. Dana 60's, F&R Electric Lockers, 37's - maybe on beadlocks, 4.88 gearing, 4" lift and 70:1 crawl ratio.. Id just drive around looking for police cars.. 'No Officer its not engineered' :)
I reckon (and i know this is sacrilege) if you got a 4 Door JK and a GU, fitted any BOLT ON accessory you could find to each one..JK would leave the GU behind in regards to off road capability.
Would it be as comfortable, carry/tow as much..not a hope and it probably would have some strange electrical trouble be fore too long..but its a Jeep Thing :)

FYI in the States these are worth $1.50 US but you need to buy them 300 at a time, lol
They have literally millions of them,
Originally called G.P. GP later being jeep. for general entry level all purpose Vehicle or something like that.
Ford and Willeys battled out for the contract both looked very similar. Willeys/jeep won
making the 7 bar grill their trade mark. The rest is history. Ford used a 9 bar grill
Next time youre next to a jeep wrangle you'll notice the driver is sitting on the rear diff

Bob, that brings back memories. The standing on the seat and steering while Dad was feeding out the hay. My only job was not to hit a stump. :) I think it was in a 40 series toymota and then next I think we had a jeep (one of the bigger rounded shape ones)
