Could any one advise where I could get a wheel alignment done on a 2002 3lt GU Patrol with out it coming back with the steering wheel off centre?
Location would be north of Brisbane.Qld.

If you have a drivers air bag and a lift 99% of the Aligners will just say "suck it up".
If you don't have a lift and the wheel is off centre something is bent

The only 'adjustment' is Toe In (Castor and Camber require shimming or other mechanical mods) which means if the wheel is out due to a lift Toe In won't help

If noone knows of an aligner in Brissy who will dick with the air bag then you can get an adjustable drag link.

An adjustable drag link will solve this issue mate. If you have a Pro Axle alignment centre up your way. Use them. Most tyre shops have NFI on 4wd alignment.

Thanks for your response's I had a shimmy in the front and needed a balance and wheel rotation.
I also had the trailing arm bushes replaced and was advise to get a wheel alignment, after ringing around to a few steering specialist's I decided to have an adjustable drag link installed.
I did not like the Idea of having to remove the steering wheel and relocated at every future wheel alignment.
I had had 2 previous wheel alignment's with no problems, when I had this one done I took it back to get the steering wheel re-aligned and after a discussion with the people that did the job it all be came too hard for them.
I just won't be getting any more work done there.

Not a good idea to do this from what I have been told. Creates more problems on solving in the future when steering alignment need doing, due to unknown steering wheel `` straightening``.
I had a problem with wheel alignment some time back. Found out that a castor bush was put in incorrectly, put in back to front I was told. I had it replaced and an adjust drag link fitted as well. No more pulling to the left and steering wheel is in central position.
