Hi can any one tell me if 2006 patrols and d22 come out with a single mass or dual mass flywheels. My d22 has developed a strange noise when idiling. when you depress the clutch it disappears. both the Patrol and d22 have original clutches and i was wondering if they came out with single or dual mass flywheels and wheter this could be the noise?
Cheers

I don't know about the D22 but if the Patrol is a 3.0 litre diesel then it has a DMF. If it's a TD4.2 it will have the single mass flywheel.
If petrol then I do not know.

ZD30 Patrol = Dual Mass Flywheel.
Probably the same for the D22.

Re-clutched my d22 navara over Easter. totally worn-out. To my surprise it was only a single mass flywheel . Had hoist and gearbox jack still not looking to do another too soon.

from what I have been told and read d22 are solid flywheels
