Would a 2004 3.0 litre Patrol have the same offset rims as my 2006 ute?

what size is std for your ute have the spec sheet in front of me
if it was 6jj x 16 then 10mm is the answer same as my OE 8jj x 16

Can’t answer that TD. If both 2004 & 2006 have a standard 10mm offset though then I should be right. I have roh 16 x 8 steels with a 13mm neg offset. I have just been offered another wheel the same size (but fitted with a 285/75).Mine have 265/75’s fitted. He doesn’t know the offset. Trying to work out if the rim in question is the same as mine. I can’t see any rim size marked on them, but think it is pretty likely the one on offer would be the same as my ones.

Rather than remove a wheel, I’ve measured the depth from the outer rim (using a straight edge) in to the ‘inner flat’ (where the wheel nuts sit) & assume that if his rim measures the same there it will be the same as mine. I know that’s not measuring the offset, but I think it should suffice between two wheels same brand, model & size. I have made the assumption that he will have 16 x 8’s if he has a 285 75 16 fitted.

Any flaws in my assumptions?

It would be easy enough to measure if you have both there now.
I take it ,its for a spare for the trailer so all match , good idea

Yep for the Tvan.
He’s in Albury, not here. Shame it’s only one (almost new) rim. I want 2 + a spare.

go down and buy 2 rims at the local tyre centre lot of stuffing around getting a wheel tyre combo
from Albury, especially when it already has the wrong tyre on it, buy matching
King rims or what ever you have on the Patrol

Yeah, I was hoping he might get over this way sometime, but that’s a negative. He has a few Patrol bits & pieces for sale, I’ll post them up in another thread.

Quick tyre answer... maybe, maybe not, depends.

(I do what TD suggested and just buy newbies)

Ets are generally stamped in the back of the wheels
