I take it youre driving when you get to the big round about and turn right to go to the island at Anderson,
All the land on the RHS was owned by my uncle a long time ago now, We had access as kids with dad.
when you go up and over the hill it goes down to some of the best rock fishing beaches you have ever seen
Miss going down there as I practically grew up in Kilcunda, all the all wooden railway bridges were built by my Grandfather

Coming from Melbourne you don't go this way any more. The anderson roundabout has now been bypassed, cuts about 5km out

Yeah we try and go before or after the easter weekend but going with the inlaws I don't get much say. Looks like we are heading up on the Murray somewhere. Dunno where though. I'd like to go to the high country but the inlaws only have a 2wd so we are limited on our choices. I leave easter up to the missus and here sister to choose. Cup weekend we go to Sheepyards or further upstream...

If you are thinking of the Murray try this :-

Doctors Bend

GPS S 35 49.040 E 145 28.178

Near Strathmerton

Also numerous Camp Sites on Ulupna Island.
PM Andy as he might have the GPS co-ordinates of where he camped the other Week

Great area which I highly recommend

Last minute decision to go to Knockwood.
Had a wonderful time.
Did the German spur for firewood.
Army track and a few others I can't remember.
Went to woods point, as someone ran out of grog.
$125 for a slab of Bundy and coke.
On the way saw a sign that said brewery track, so I said that's sounds familiar, so I went have a look, as soon as I saw the entrance to the good part of the track, I knew exactly where I was.
The next trip there, I will be checking it out and hopefully giving it another crack.
