Is there a trick to the NATS? Sometimes it starts immediately and other times not.

Has 2 keys.

Is it nats, or a priming/glow issue?

If it is the second one, try pretending the air bag light is your glow plug light. When the air bag light goes out, then crank. Let us know how you go.
