Is there any other way to tell how many km your car has traveled besides the speedo.

If you don't have the service record trail from new you could try getting it pissed and it might blurt it out... otherwise you are stuck with whatever the odometer is reading.
Why?

if its the old tumbler style speedo if the numbers aren't in a straight line ,
or appear wavey chances are someone has wound it back at some point in its life.
But agree with ET maybe a movie, a meal and a few drinks who knows, lol
If you have an updated dash, say a Ti cluster in a ST that could be one
Ask Nissan if the odmeter reading is stored in the ECU and can it be retrieved??

ET. No service history.
I rather have a few instead of waiting for a car to burp out answers. At lest I sort of make sense.
TD. Digital readout. Will call a dealership, but don't like the idea of knowing.
Reason I ask is I called the company that did the gas install back in 2011. They informed me that it had 374000 km at the time of install, I brought it 10 months ago with 238000 km.
Has the cluster been changed and if so why. Has it had and engine refit.
As a average it probably should be just under 500000. Now my patrol is mechanically standard, drives well, goes though no oil, last change was 6000km ago and the level is right on the mark and a nice golden oil colour.
There is no notice of excessive wear in the cabin or anywhere else. Do these engines drive well at 1/2 million km? If so bring in the next 1/2 million.

oil is clean cause you run gas most the time.
Has it had a new motor check if VIN plate is correct
Something has happened along the way thats a huge K difference

Oil was black, took a couple of changes to get it clean again, pervious owner didn't have it long and looks like didn't do much to it.
Vin numbers all match.
I did question the gas place that they may have pushed the wrong button, but of course they denied it.

Private.
Got moved around on the phone with Essendon Nissan, but no one could answer me.
Anyway, if its really got that much and drives this good, gotta be happy with that.

You cant 'turn back' an electronic dash. If someone been playing with it, they just go to a wreckers and get a dash board with less kms.

Yeah I know.
Rather this has happened or the gas place has screwed up.
Might hit up Vic roads and see what they come up with.
