Central locking problem

Mates GU Patrol has new motor installed, therefore body control module gone. Central locking used BCM hence no longer working. Two questions:
1) The drivers door lock has a switch that is activated with the key. Does the switch stay closed whilst the door is unlocked or does it close only while the key is being turned?

2) The wiring diagram in the Haynes manual says all the other doors have motors to drive the locks. Are they actually motors or are there 2 solenoids?

Check fuses/relays.. if there good then id say ur actuator switch on drivers door might be the problem...
