Just replacing one rear bearing on a gq disk brake semi floating and pressing the new bearing on it appears to be tight to turn even before I replace the retaining nut, i can turn it one handed without problem but seems too tight. Should I be concerned, the manual says "turns smoothly" which it does.

How did it feel to turn before you installed it? They are firm bearings, so long as it isn't binding it's probably fine.

I did not try as it is a prepacked assembly and did not want to dislodge the grease.

I checked the other new bearing set and it Turns out the bearing is stiff out of the box.

I'd wash the grease out and use your own or with something better. Who know's what the grease is like thats in there.
