I was talking to my tutor today, doing a diploma currently in interactive computer game design and the assignment I am up to is doing a complex 3D model with one of the options being a car tyre. I asked if I could do a 4WD tyre which is fine and he posted this to me as a laugh.

I think I got more kicks out of it than he expected with it being a Toyota. Thought I would share it for you guys. :D

there was a tyre a few years back called a Croc or similar.
it was a see through Kevlar casing that could never go flat.
I think it was aimed at the mining industry. Havent heard about them for a while

There used to be a couple in FNQ some years back as well.
Owned by Qld Rail or the Eleccy Mob or one of their subbies IIRC

I've always wondered what the footprint pressure is on them... have to be something like a couple of PSI, maybe 3 at most
