Hand Brake cable

I pulled on my handbrake ( vehicle two years old) and the handbrake lever suddenly gave no resistance. I assume the cable snapped. Has anyone else experienced this please?

not me but its still under warranty so take it back and get them to put a new one on.

I havn't had to do it but on another forum it appears to be around $100 and a PITA to do. As Stropp says, get them to do it.
