Hi All

About a month ago the missus rang to say the engine warning light had just come on. I told her to check temp, does it feel different etc when driving and so she drove it home. It went out on the way home and didn't come back on. There were no issues at all.

We went for a tour around to meelup yesterday for a bbq and swim. We stopped the car and the turbo timer usually runs for a minute but it sort of spluttered after about 15 sec and the car stopped. Now the engine warning light wont go out. I remember I had this issue about 7 years ago and it was the fuel filter, or rather water in the fuel filter.

My question is, is there anyway to bleed the fuel filter to get the water out (if it is the issue) as taking the filter out and changing is a bit$h (I have one arm :)).

cheers all.

What model/year is the Patrol? Di's and CRD's have a different filter set up.
